Just gently tap through the weed control fabric to hold down and cover with your choice of mulch such as bark, Slate chippings, shingle and stone.

 

Used by professional landscape gardeners, weed control fabric works by suppressing weeds. When combined with a mulch covering or under paving, light cannot penetrate to the weeds. The unique structure of our membrane gives it immense strength. Weeds already weak from lack of light cannot penetrate through the fabric. The product is chemically inert. It can even be used to line pond plant baskets and as a filter layer in fish tanks. When laying out it is best to peg down using mulch mat pegs, it can be cut with a sharp knife and holes can be cut through it to plant into the topsoil below.
