The construction policy is to use thicker than average materials where possible, for example a 15mm tongue and groove shiplap board as standard on many of our buildings compared to the industry standard of 12mm. N.B. when comparing our specification against others check you have the finished timber size after machining as some companies will quote sizes before planing. All the timber comes from well managed sustainable sources, mainly timbers from Sweden, Russia and the UK. Some of our suppliers are FSC (forest stewardship council) certified.

 

The buildings are supplied flat pack to site, with fully framed and braced door with three hinges and can be constructed on a concrete subbase or sleeper framework to give a level site to build from. All windows come with 4mm float glass. The shed is stained on completion and  the  specification for a Kent shed is thicker than average tongue and groove shiplap cladding (15mm), 45x34mm planed framework, framed & braced door with lock and key and three hinges.

 

Many of the sheds are manufactured to order so please allow 7-21 days for delivery. Please contact regarding specific design- eg. options available on this building are opening windows, wider doors, double doors, safety glass, security windows, stable door are all available for the Kent model.
